A host of Queens Over dogs descending on St. Louis in early November for the AWBRTA specialty and four all breed IABCA shows.  We had all the “old gasls” – Riki, Macha and Ulyana.  Four of Riki’s litter came – Aeron, Leo, Nicholas and Heiress, and six of Macha’s babies (only 4 months old) were there – Niki, Pepper, Bella, Kali, Taavi and Teddy.

At the Specialty (with an entry of 50 or more) Riki won the working bitch class,  Nicholas won the Champion dog class.  Bella won the baby bitch class and Taavi won the baby dog class and was BEST BABY!

The we went on the all-breed shows.  At show one Aeron managed an upset and beat everyone for Best of Breed and Best of Breed Bred-By Exhibitor.  She got two group 2s also.  Nicholas won the Open Dog class, and Kali won the Best Puppy and Best Bred-By Puppy.  She also got two Group 2s.

Show 2 – Nicholas again won the Open dog class (which was huge) only to be bested this time by his Mother.  Riki was Best of Breed, Group 1 and went on to Best In Show!!!!  Bella was Best of Breed Puppy and Group 1 with a Reserve Best In Show.

Show 3 – was a repeat of  show two for Nicholas and Riki.  Riki was Breed, Group 1 and Reserve Best in Show.  Aeron was Best Bred-By, Group 1 and Reserve Best in Show.

Show 4 – Nicholas again won the Open class.  Taavi won Best Baby male and Pepper won Best Baby female.

It was a great weekend with Queens Over dogs taking three of the five Breed wins, one Best Baby and two Best Puppy wins out of four,  4 Group 1s and 4 Group 2s, 2 Reserve Best in Shows and a Best in Show.  Not a bad weekend – especially with more than twice the number of Black Russians as were at the National Specialty!!!!
